DATE

Wednesday, 15th August 2018

DESTINATION

Come for a drive and enjoy a slice of Australian history!  Filled with an assortment of belongings and treasures, Rouse Hill House and Farm chronicles the changing fortunes of six generations of the one family.

To get the most out of our visit, we have arranged a private tour starting at 11.30am at a cost of $11 per concession or $16 per adult, which is payable by either cash or card on entry to the museum.

Please note: Moving about the farmstead involves walking up and down gentle slopes, over unpaved tracks and grassy paddocks for up to several hundred metres at a stretch, so please wear walking shoes and clothes appropriate to the weather on the day. If you have reduced mobility, please let us know in advance as we can request the use of “a people mover” to assist you. generations of the one family.

MEETING POINT

Please meet at Berowra Waters Boatshed Kiosk, Lot 466 Berowra Waters Road, Berowra Waters for a morning coffee at 9.30am.  Please note that the Boatshed Kiosk is located on the eastern side of the ferry.

DRIVING ROUTE

We will depart from the Kiosk at approximately 10am and cross over on the ferry before heading out on a 35 km drive through Arcadia, Dural and Annangrove towards Rouse Hill.  This route will take us past the old Amaroo Park Raceway.

LUNCH

As Rouse Hill House and Farm does not have a café, at the conclusion of the tour we will be travelling a very short distance to the Bistro at the nearby Australian Hotel and Brewery, which is located at 350 Annangrove Road Rouse Hill (just behind Bunnings).
